LinkedIn is overrun with slop and spam

There's an article going around from Pangram, a very smart company that builds AI-detection software; about how they scanned a million posts across the major social media sites. One of their conclusions is that LinkedIn is, in fact, the most overrun with AI slop. In our own testing of Narro, and as LinkedIn users ourselves, we have to agree.
LinkedIn used to be a great place for thought leadership, novel ideas, and insightful business content. Sometime in mid-2025 LinkedIn decided short vertical video and a highly algorithmic feed was the way to boost growth and engagement. Now the site is overrun with low-quality, low-effort content from people (or bots) who are good at manipulating that algorithm.
Pangram's solution is AI filtering software that analyzes posts and flags the ones that look machine-generated. That's not a bad idea, but I think it misses the point.
First, LLMs will just get better at sounding more natural and "human". Second, just because something is not AI-generated doesn't make it high quality.
There's plenty of spam that isn't AI slop, so the real fix is to curate a feed stocked with the minds and voices you know and trust.
